About the event
INTRODUCING GROUP LIFTING TECHNIQUE CLASSES! Heard that runners should be lifting heavy but don't feel comfortable with form to implement it on your own? This is a small-group technique class taught by Sammie Lewis focused on improving lifting mechanics to make you confident pushing yourself in the gym.
What are we covering?
-The first month of classes are going to focus on the two main compound lifts: the squat and the deadlift, alternating lifts each week.
Who can sign up?
-These particular classes are women's only. Classes for all genders will be announced shortly.
-You DO NOT have to be a runner. If you want to learn how to lift heavy- this is for you. However, some running-specific content will be discussed.
-All experience levels welcome- nobody's perfect! Lifts will be scaled appropriately based on your experience and comfort level.
-Can be established GE clients or completely new. Can be your 4th class or your 1st!
What these classes are NOT:
-A stand-alone strength training routine. Each week will focus on ONE specific lift with specific education and practice to make to improve competency moving forward.
